Learn to speak God’s language – and no I’m not speaking about speaking in tongues. Not that there’s anything wrong with speaking tongues but there’s another language that we are familiar with but rarely speak and that’s the word of God. The word of God is a language, it’s God’s way of communicating with us however we often treat it as a one way street. He speaks to us in his word and then we listen but we rarely speak back and when we do speak it’s a foreign language. The language of bickering, murmuring and complaining. It takes two to communicate in the same language in order for it to be effective. The word of God is the most powerful form of communication that we can ever use to speak to God and he gave it to us for us to communicate with him every day. It’s not good enough to just read it, but we must confess it in our everyday lives. When we confess the word of God back to him, it identifies something in the spiritual realm that is undeniably powerful and provokes God to listen and deliver.
Learn to speak God’s language, speak it back to him, converse with him. Feed him with his own word as you are being fed, speak his language and start a different level of communication with him. Stop speaking a language that he cannot understand. All your complaining and murmuring is a foreign language to him and it’s something he can’t relate to and when you do that it’s like speaking Chinese to someone from Haiti who speaks French or Creole. Just like complaining and murmuring is a language, the word of God is also a language. So start speaking the language of God, one that he understands so that your communication with him can be fruitful and effective.

- Hello and welcome to a place of Spiritual Refuge. A place where you can come and meditate on the word of God as it encourages and empowers you to live on top of the world everyday. I've always had a passion for writing ever since I was a child. Now I'm an adult I've decided to allow God to use one of the many gifts he's given me to encourage and create a place of spiritual refuge for the discouraged, broken hearten and those who at times feel they have no hope. I thank God for all of the gifts that he has given me and my greatest intent is for me to give them back to him by using them for his Glory. Enjoy, be encouraged and inspired. Lorraine B :)
