Hello and welcome to a place of Spiritual Refuge. A place where you can come and meditate on the word of God as it encourages and empowers you to live on top of the world everyday. I've always had a passion for writing ever since I was a child. Now I'm an adult I've decided to allow God to use one of the many gifts he's given me to encourage and create a place of spiritual refuge for the discouraged, broken hearten and those who at times feel they have no hope. I thank God for all of the gifts that he has given me and my greatest intent is for me to give them back to him by using them for his Glory. Enjoy, be encouraged and inspired. Lorraine B :)

God being the “I AM” in your life.

In Exodus 3: 13-14 God told Moses to tell the Israelites that “I AM” has sent me to you. There are a lot of other places in the word that God refers to himself as “I AM.” However, we often only focus on the above mentioned scripture when we think of God being “I AM.” But, if you dig a little deeper, God reveals himself many times through the word as “I AM” and as we live today we should begin to relate to God being the “I AM” in our lives.
God is the “I AM” for every single issue that we face. Are you sick? God says I AM the God that healeth thee. Are you lacking in anything? God says I AM your provider. Do you need him to make a way out of no way? He says I AM making a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland. Do you feel alone? God says I AM with you. Are you forever wondering who really created you? God says, I AM your creator. Wondering who God really is? He says, I AM God and there is no other, there is no one like me Isaiah 46: 8-9. Need direction? God says: I AM the Lord your God who teaches you what is best for you, who directs you in the way you should go. Isaiah 48:17. As you go through your everyday life he wants to remind you that he is the “I AM.” Question is will you allow him to be the “I AM” that he wants to be in your life?
