Hello and welcome to a place of Spiritual Refuge. A place where you can come and meditate on the word of God as it encourages and empowers you to live on top of the world everyday. I've always had a passion for writing ever since I was a child. Now I'm an adult I've decided to allow God to use one of the many gifts he's given me to encourage and create a place of spiritual refuge for the discouraged, broken hearten and those who at times feel they have no hope. I thank God for all of the gifts that he has given me and my greatest intent is for me to give them back to him by using them for his Glory. Enjoy, be encouraged and inspired. Lorraine B :)

Thou preparest a table before me.......

Psalms 23: 5 – Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over..... KJV

What is the purpose of a table? Isn’t it an object used to show things off? An object used to display items that are of importance to you? When you prepare a table what is your purpose of preparing that table? Isn’t it to display whatever you are preparing? Whether it be a dinner table, a side table, a night table or a coffee table, a table is something that is used to place things on, but more importantly it's used to show things off. Think of this passage as that. When God said that he prepares a table before you in the presence of your enemy, what that means is that he’s going to display to your enemy what he has in store for you. And whatever it is, it's going to be sooo full that you’re cup is going to run over and they are going to witness it. So don’t worry about your enemy, they can’t do nothing to you, You already have the victory! All you have to do is think about that table, seek God and keep thanking him and praising him for whatever it is that he is about to display in your life. Selah! Pause and think about that! So no matter what you’re going through, don’t worry about it, give it back to God and just know that God is going to place that cup on the table that he has prepared for you and trust me that overflow is going to run over right into your enemy's face!
