Last year, I overheard a minister say that when Jesus was on the earth he was a multi tasker. One minute he was in a boat, the next minute he was casting out demons from the man that was cutting himself in the cemetery, then before you knew it he was back on the boat, back on land with people touching him, wanting him to go to their homes to heal their sick family members etc. Man Jesus was as busy as a bee busy and that makes me wonder, if he was that busy here on earth, then what does God's agenda look like? I mean think about it, from answering our prayers, to sending his angels constantly to minister and protect us, to sending the Holy Spirit to comfort us and downpour his word into our pastors lives every week to minister to his people, God's agenda is extremely busy and he is constantly at work.
So then I thought to myself, you know what? If God's such a busy man, why do I go before him at times with idol talk and prayers that at times don't even make sense? Why at times I go before him wasting both our time murmuring and complaining about stuff instead of just believing his word? And to top it off I expect him to hear me out and then get mad when he doesn't respond when he's already given me all of the answers in his word. God's a busy man and although he's never too busy for us even when we approach him with our day to day mess, moving forward, although tempted at times to bicker and complain, I'm going to try my best and make up in my mind not to waste neither his or my time going before him with requests and other nonsense that has nothing to do with worshipping him in spirit but has everything to do with satisfying the flesh.

- Hello and welcome to a place of Spiritual Refuge. A place where you can come and meditate on the word of God as it encourages and empowers you to live on top of the world everyday. I've always had a passion for writing ever since I was a child. Now I'm an adult I've decided to allow God to use one of the many gifts he's given me to encourage and create a place of spiritual refuge for the discouraged, broken hearten and those who at times feel they have no hope. I thank God for all of the gifts that he has given me and my greatest intent is for me to give them back to him by using them for his Glory. Enjoy, be encouraged and inspired. Lorraine B :)
