Hello and welcome to a place of Spiritual Refuge. A place where you can come and meditate on the word of God as it encourages and empowers you to live on top of the world everyday. I've always had a passion for writing ever since I was a child. Now I'm an adult I've decided to allow God to use one of the many gifts he's given me to encourage and create a place of spiritual refuge for the discouraged, broken hearten and those who at times feel they have no hope. I thank God for all of the gifts that he has given me and my greatest intent is for me to give them back to him by using them for his Glory. Enjoy, be encouraged and inspired. Lorraine B :)

The empty room that's far as the east is from the west

Psalms 103:12 as far as the east is from the west,so far has he removed our transgressions from us NIV

Removed = eliminate, to do away with, to dismiss

At times in order to really grasp the concept of Psalms 103:12, I imagine that everytime I sin, my sins are collected in something like a big room. And then, as I ask for forgiveness, all of the sins in that room are erased one by one only to find the empty room that was there in the first place. I admit that at times I keep going back to that room in my mind, wanting to turn the door knob, wondering if some of my sins are still there even though I know that I've asked God for forgiveness over and over again. But God, being the loving father that he is to me, chooses to lead me by the hand for both of us to open the door of that big, enclosed room, in order to show me that he's eliminated everything I ever did that was displeasing to him never to remember them no more! And you know what? Everytime I pass by that room and turn the door knob, I've found the room EMPTY over and over again, just as he promised me in Psalms 103.
