Ecclesiastes 3 – A time for everything
In Ecclesiastes 3, Solomon speaks about time as he strategically breaks down a timeframe for everything. A time to be born, a time to die a time to plan and a time to uproot, a time to kill and a time to heal, a time to tear down and a time to build, a time to weep and the list goes on and on as you read the chapter. And we all know that for everything under the Sun there is a time. So as I take inventory of my life and take note of what is going on, I can’t help but ask myself, self, what time is it?
What time is it in my life? What is it I need to be doing? What is going on and why is it going on? What spiritual timeframe or earthly timeframe am I on and how much time do I think I have left? Is it a time for joy? A time to rebuild? A time to gain more wisdom and knowledge? A time to forgive and let go? A time to learn and take on something new? A time to help? A time to pray? A time to buckle down and seek God for his guidance? A time to be surrounded around the right people to help push my destiny forward? A time for change? A time to strengthen my faith? Self, WHAT TIME IS IT???
