James 3:14 (New International Version, ©2011)
14 But if you harbor bitter envy and selfish ambition in your hearts, do not boast about it or deny the truth.
You know at times when we hear testimonies of how God blesses others and how Sis so and so got her blessing and how God delivered Bro so and so of his dilemna we at times envy or get a little jealous of their blessing and we wonder and ask God at times when our blessing will come? Come on now you know we weren't always saved, sanctified and filled with the Holy Ghost and some of us still don't know any better. So here's my recommendation for those of us who aren't quite delivered from Jealousy and envy as yet. Instead of envying or being jealous of the Bro or Sis that God delivered, how about you use their testimony as fuel to praise God for his goodness, his deliverance and for fulfilling his promises of your praise for your breakthrough? So if you still do get a little jealous of somebody else's blessing, admit your jealousy to God, ask for forgiveness and celebrate God for what he's doing in others lives so that he can rain down what he has for you.

- Hello and welcome to a place of Spiritual Refuge. A place where you can come and meditate on the word of God as it encourages and empowers you to live on top of the world everyday. I've always had a passion for writing ever since I was a child.
