Isaiah 43:18-20 (New International Version, ©2011)
18 “Forget the former things;do not dwell on the past. 19 See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.
At times, I get up in the morning and reflect on yesterday wishing that everything that I wanted to complete was done and that I can start afresh today with new chores and a new "things to do list". But then the Lord reminds me in Isaiah 43 that I am to forget what happened yesterday and not dwell on it because God is doing a new thing today and if I focus on what wasn't done yesterday I can truly miss out on what he's trying to do for and through me today. That ensures me that not only can I "catch up" so to speak on the things that were incomplete yesterday, but everyday that God allows me to wake up is a new day that he's given me as a second chance. A second chance to be better, do better and live better for his glory solely given by his grace.

- Hello and welcome to a place of Spiritual Refuge. A place where you can come and meditate on the word of God as it encourages and empowers you to live on top of the world everyday. I've always had a passion for writing ever since I was a child. Now I'm an adult I've decided to allow God to use one of the many gifts he's given me to encourage and create a place of spiritual refuge for the discouraged, broken hearten and those who at times feel they have no hope. I thank God for all of the gifts that he has given me and my greatest intent is for me to give them back to him by using them for his Glory. Enjoy, be encouraged and inspired. Lorraine B :)
