You know it's funny, quite frequently in my life I've been labelled as someone who is "high maintenance" and it's something that I've denied, been ashamed of and even tried to hide, by changing things about myself just to get out of the stigma of what "high maintenance" means in this society. But you know what? It hit me the other day that if I am claiming to be a child of the King, a King's kid, then I have no choice BUT to be high maintenance and to look and act in excellence! Why? Cuz I'm MAINTAINED BY THE MOST HIGH, THE KING OF ALL KINGS and LORD OF LORDS and if I'm supposed to be a child of the King well aren't I supposed to look and act the part? Come on now, you ever seen a King's kid not looking and dressing the part of who he is? So no longer will I change my wardrobe or other things about myself and personality to get out of the stigma of being "high maintenance" cuz guess what if I am maintained by the most high himself, it is expected of me to act the part, dress the part and live the part. So from now on I embrace my "high maintainency" because I am just being who I am called to be.

- Hello and welcome to a place of Spiritual Refuge. A place where you can come and meditate on the word of God as it encourages and empowers you to live on top of the world everyday. I've always had a passion for writing ever since I was a child. Now I'm an adult I've decided to allow God to use one of the many gifts he's given me to encourage and create a place of spiritual refuge for the discouraged, broken hearten and those who at times feel they have no hope.
