MADE IN HIS IMAGE – REPLICAS OF GOD

Genesis 1: 27
So God created man kind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.
Have you ever thought about the attributes of God? I mean really meditated on the attributes of God and how much his personality and characteristic traits are so much like yours? We can start out by thinking of the professions that we have here on the earth. Let’s start with musicians. Musicians are responsible for creating music that praises God; well when you think about it, God made music a long time ago. Way before he created the earth, the angels and the heavenly host praised him and sang music to him. God is the master creator, aren’t we creators too? Sure we are, we’re constantly creating things every day. God is the master painter after all he created and painted his color palette all over the world before painters came into existence. Can you relate to him and his creation when you visit art galleries or admire a beautiful piece of art? What about writers, He wrote the bible through men and now we write about him through the inspirations that he gives to us. We are walking and talking replicas of God walking on this earth and it’s amazing to think how much we are like him. From jealousy to anger (Yes he’s a jealous God and he gets angry too) to love, embrace and comfort we are his replicas and we are to fully represent him and all of his attributes that he’s given to us. So stand in awe, think about God and the many ways that you are like him. Thank him for all of his traits that he’s given you and strive to excel in each of them every day.
