I declared that this year was my year of jubilee, my year to experience the fullness of joy in the Lord. But when I think about the Psalms 30:5 “weeping may endure for the night but joy comes in the morning” I realized that sometimes joy needs pain to occur. So don’t be afraid of pain, it’s going to occur, but God has promised us in his word that Joy comes in the morning. No matter what you’re going through, joy is coming, joy is coming, JOY IS COMING!!!! So stop focusing on what is currently going on around you and start looking towards what’s coming ahead. Know that HE knows the plans he has for you and whatever is going on in your life is part of the ultimate plan that he has for your life. Focus on the what lies ahead, the fullness of joy that he wants you to experience through your trials, and the love that he consistently gives. When you begin to reflect on those things, it builds a foundation of finding the joy that you so desire.

- Hello and welcome to a place of Spiritual Refuge. A place where you can come and meditate on the word of God as it encourages and empowers you to live on top of the world everyday. I've always had a passion for writing ever since I was a child. Now I'm an adult I've decided to allow God to use one of the many gifts he's given me to encourage and create a place of spiritual refuge for the discouraged, broken hearten and those who at times feel they have no hope. I thank God for all of the gifts that he has given me and my greatest intent is for me to give them back to him by using them for his Glory. Enjoy, be encouraged and inspired. Lorraine B :)
